Log Home Design

Our staff, designers and construction crews will
put your wishes,  ideas and needs together and make
your "dream" log home a reality.

Your choices are virtually unlimited as we work with
you, one on one, to develop a one of a kind home;
a home that is uniquely your own.

If you can dream it we can build it.

We custom design each home we build
and take great pride in doing so.

Our log home kits and log home packages are ordered
and assembled after we have taken your plans and
created a design that you have approved.

You can provide us with a pencil sketch or a floor-plan
you like, give us the details as to how you want your
log home to look and we will mold and shape the design,
custom-tailored to your needs.
Then a package or kit can be ordered to fit the custom
design that we have worked on together with you.

This is a very important aspect of our operation.
You might see a design or plan on our site you like - but
that design is only the beginning.
We take your wants, wishes and desires and then formulate
a custom house design that is "YOUR" home.

Yes, we have plans.
But, they are only the beginning.
Allstate Log Homes is proud to say the initial
log home plans are far from the "end-product."

Anything you want will be incorporated into your package.
Your log home package will be your's and no one else's.
Add cable feed lines, satellite hook-ups, security
cameras, alarm systems, garage and more.
ALL THIS IN ADDITION TO
designing your home the "exact" way you want it.

Our staff can work with you by phone,
by email, by fax or in person.
All office and phone consultations are free.

YOUR DESIGN AND FINAL PLAN OPTIONS

1.  Pick one of our log home or post and beam floor plans OR
  2.  Submit your pencil sketch with notes and we will do the rest;
keeping you posted every step of the way -
emailing you plans as they progress or showing them to you
in our office.
3.  Most important - we take your new log, post and beam or timber frame home
as serious as if it were our own home.  Our reputation is on the line.
4.  Your satisfaction is our number one goal at Allstate Log Homes.
5.  We can take another plan you have or one we have OR one you
have designed yourself; make all the final adjustments to make it yours
and uniquely yours and then put together a package from that design
after it has been finalized
6. We can complete your construction to range from "dry-in" to "turn key."

log home or post and beam home are only limited by your imagination.

The "Dream to Reality" Process

PHASE 2 - Contractual Agreement

When we  finalize your plans and they are approved by you we will then enter into the
development of a written contract.  This phase is required to ensure that everyone's interests
are in balance; our customer, (YOU), and your contractor, (Allstate Log Homes).

Your contract becomes much more than just a signed agreement between parties; it is
a good tool for future communications and an excellent way for you to monitor your
expectations.  All aspects of the design, lay-out, material, building process, amenities along
with extras are included; while still allowing you latitude to add, omit or change your final
product.  The requirements for each of these additions and changes will also be defined in
your contract.

Your contract will cover everything including many of the basic elements.
Some of the most common are listed below.

1.  Define the responsibilities of both parties.

2.  Delineate payment terms

3.  Outline the scope of our work in constructing your "Dream Home".

4.  List cost allowances as mandated by your design desires.

5.  Cover the steps to take and the elements involved in making change orders.

6.  Provide you with a record of your home design, amenities and extras.

Allstate Log Homes, Construction and Design
strives to establish a professional relationship with each of our customers.
We have yet to have a customer who was not satisfied with our
performance and that could not also call us "a friend".

All of this is reflected in the agreements we make, the contracts we sign and
the fulfillment of our commitments, promises and contractual obligations.

Allstate is not a "cowboy contractor".  We are a builder, a designer and a company
that takes great pride in the quality of our work while being fully committed to
the satisfaction of our customers above all else.

With those commitments stated let us move on to Phase 3

The "Dream to Reality" Process

PHASE 3
Building Your Unique Home.

Design plans have been carefully laid out.
After combining all your ideas, paper sketches, thoughts
and after ample discussion and brain-storming with our
designers; all the ideas and dreams
turn into a finalized plan and blue-print
for your own, new and unique home.

When the building phase is underway there are a
multitude of events which take place in order to reach
the completion of your "Dream Home".
Though the steps may be different for each home they are all
predictable and required and may include some or all of the
following and in some cases even more.

ALL DONE TO YOUR SATISFACTION, WITH YOUR
APPROVAL AND ALL YOUR GOALS IN MIND.

1.  Acquire permits and file required applications for building, septic system, electricity, water,
     easements and more.

2.  Temporary power installation.

3.  Septic tank and lines installed.

4.  Arrangements for material delivery - moving and unloading equipment, straw and plastic for staging
     of building material and supplies.

5.  Grading and foundation development.

6.  Structure shell completion and complete drying-in process.

7.  Hard working construction crews on duty sometimes 7 days a week, when necessary so that we can
move you along to the finishing touches.

8.  Now your own personal touches are included in the finalizing process.  This is a time when new ideas may
     come to mind - and when the clauses of additions and changes come into play;

and finally ...

"Home, Sweet Home"

All possible due to the combined efforts of "you" and
Allstate Log Homes in conjunction with
Allstate Real Estate.

A history of satisfied customers since the day
Allstate Log Homes hammered our first nail.
